Hi everyone. We are going to postpone the race due all the rain/flooding this week. The Kaituna is going to remain on "open gates" for at least another 1-2 weeks so we'll look at a date in February to hold the event. Please pass the message on to others and stay posted for new race date.

Come to the 9th (!!!) annual event in memory of one of the greatest paddlers, guides, and friends to ever be part of the Kaituna River community.

A memorial challenge for a good friend Andy Duff. Five different paddles down the Kaituna each in a different craft at 30min intervals: Playboats, Longboats, Tandems, Sledges and Rafts. All mass start from the control gates down to the bottom hole. Be at control gates 15min before start of each challenge. First challenge is playboats, be there at 4.15pm. The Citroën Extreme Race is back, on the Kawarau River on Saturday 13 March. Check out the new 'four-way' format, and hang around for the post-event party with live music, a fundraising BBQ, and a 'farmyard theme'.

Come for a paddle down the Kaituna in Playboats, Longboats, Tandems, Sledges, Rafts. Paddle from "put in" to "take out" with a mass start. Starts at 4:30pm, 16 January, with playboats then straight back up for the next challenge. It's possible to do every division. Then beers at the Store.
