In NZ on holiday looking to go paddling

I'm in NZ studying for several weeks studying and would like to paddle at least one weekend. I am staying at Victoria University in Wellington and have been looking into going to Murchison to paddle the Buller and other surrounding rivers. If you are headed down that way and wouldn't mind showing someone from the States the lines, I would be very grateful. I paddle Class IV in the States and would like to probably do a 2-3 as a warm up and then maybe get on a 4. The best way to contact me is by email which is jay.martin@gatech.edu.

hay dude do you have a cell phone. if so give me your number and will let you know what we are paddling up in the wairarapa, just over the hill. and would be keen to get on the hut gorge as much as i can. so will let you know if we come down to paddle it
