Genisis energy are having to dump a truckload of water out of Lake Waikeromoana, so they are spilling water out of the lake which is all ending up below Piripaua power station. Our normal release this last weekend of 34 cumecs turned into 50 cumecs, so it was pumping pretty good. This should last all this week, so if anyones keen its worth the travel.
