Whanganui River flows

Anybody out there familiar with the consequences of high flows in this river? A group of us are looking at running later this week in open boats. I've done it at low flows, and raced down once in a big flood but I don't know how big it was! Currently at 300cms. I can't even find what normal flow regime is..The graph I get on the net is only for the last week.
Suggest you check in with Canoe Safaris or Yeti Tours in Ohakune for advice. I believe up to 400cms at Pipiriki is still good.
Standard flows fluctuate between 100-600cms. Big floods in excess of 1400cms.
I guess it depends on your groups level of experience.
