Where to go?

Hello,
I'm Canadian, and I'm planning on taking a year off next year to come work and paddle in New Zealand. Of course, ideally I'd like to work in the whitewater industry, ie. instructing or guiding. I have instructor certification and experience instructing and guiding.
Could anyone give me any thoughts about reputable schools or outfitters that I could look at? Any help would be most appreciated.

One good place to try is the New Zealand Kayak School in Murchison on the South Island. Contact Mick Hopkinson. They operate Oct to April and are generally very busy. For info on boating around Murch and a link to contact Mick go to www.nzkayak.info
