I want to know how many rivers in NZ which have wild and scenic status? I want to know the list of the wild and scenic rivers in north and south island please. thx

NZ doesn't recognise Wild and Scenic status in law. The closest thing is Water Conservation Orders for rivers that are a little similar to National Park status. You can see a list at http://www.rivers.org.nz/article/WaterConservationOrders
